EMERGENCY First Aid At WorK

The EFAW course is designed for individuals who are designated as the workplace's first aiders or emergency first responders. This could include individuals who work in high-risk environments such as construction sites or factories, as well as those who work in low-risk environments such as offices or retail stores. The course is suitable for individuals who have little or no prior first aid training, as well as those who require a refresher course to update their skills.

EFR CPR and AED Course

What is the Emergency First Aid at Work

The EFAW course covers a range of essential first aid skills, including assessing the scene of an emergency, barrier protection, providing effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) with and without Rescue Breathing, using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), dealing with choking, severe bleeding, burns, fractures, shock and spinal management.

Participants will also learn how to manage a range of medical conditions such as heart attacks, strokes, asthma attacks, and seizures.

The course will also cover the legal and practical responsibilities of first aiders and provide guidance on how to record and report incidents.

The EFAW course consists of both theoretical and practical training. Participants will learn through a combination of presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on training exercises. This approach ensures that individuals have a thorough understanding of first aid principles and the confidence to apply them in real-life situations.

Importance of Emergency First Aid at Work

The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to a range of emergency situations in the workplace. It is essential that employers provide adequate first aid training to their employees to ensure that they are prepared to respond effectively in the event of an emergency. Quick and effective first aid can mean the difference between life and death, and it is therefore essential that those responsible for the safety of others are trained to deal with a wide range of medical emergencies.

The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course is essential for anyone who may need to respond to a medical emergency in the workplace. A really good training course, very professionally presented by Tracy. I’ve been on lots of training courses over the years and too often they can be soporific! Tracy is one of those rare training professionals who can deliver training and keep a person interested all day! Great course. Highly recommended!

Couldn't recommend Tracy and her team enough for a first aid course. Having to renew it every 3 years used to send me to sleep. Not with these guys! Professional, up to date and with lots of toys to play with, without the death by powerpoint.
